Lucky Cat Museum 2 - Maneki Nekos w Fish
Maneki Neko, the Japanese Lucky Cat, has been associated with many other lucky charms (engimono). The most popular of them all is the Lucky Tai Fish. Not only is the Tai Fish lucky, the two of them together may represent Ebisu the Fisherman, one of the Japan's Seven Deities of Good Fortune (Shichifukujin). Ebisu, usually shown holding a fishing pole, is a bringer of abundance who represents the working man. So, you see, now we have 3 lucky charms in one. You will find here a selection of Beckoning Cat images - all including his good buddy, the Tai Fish. I hope that you will enjoy looking at them. --donaldmoon
